Remortgage

For some people, their mortgage is up for renewal and looking for a better deal. Others may have had a change in circumstance, such as getting a promotion or pay rise at work, and now wish to review their options to see if they can get a better mortgage deal.

We are here to help you through the remortgage process from start to finish. We’ll help you compare deals from various lenders to find the best one for your needs and guide you through the application process step by step.

With ever-changing rules and regulations, keeping up with the latest lending requirements for applicants can be difficult. To ensure you and your accountant are on the same page from the start, it’s important to speak with an experienced professional early in the process.

At D&K Mortgages, our outstanding advisers are skilled at handling complicated income situations. They have a proven track record of securing mortgages for people with short or fixed-term contracts, independent contractors who work for several different businesses, or even those who operate successful Limited Companies.

The Process

Step One

Create a budget for your new purchase by speaking to one of our knowledgeable consultants. We will need to assess your financial and personal condition and ask you for a few necessary papers to create an "Agreement in Principle." To guarantee a complete and accurate knowledge of your revenue, we will speak with your Accountant directly with your consent.

Step Two

Next, you are ready to register with estate agents and start looking at properties. Once you have found a home that meets your requirements, you can "Make an Offer." Remember to give the vendor adviser's contact information so they can confirm with you that you are qualified to move through with the purchase.

A lawyer will also be needed to help you with your purchase. We can put you in touch with any of our many trustworthy attorneys.

Step Three

Once we have received your signed contract, we will begin the mortgage application process. We will need a few more documents from you to move forward. During this time, you mustn't make any changes to your financial situation so that we can continue to give you the best rates possible.

We will continuously update you on the status of your purchase and keep in communication with the lender, estate agent, and solicitor.

After you have successfully moved into your new home, our job is not done yet. Our consultant will still be available to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. We want to ensure that you are comfortably settled into your new property.
